What does CACI stand for?
The original name of the company was California Analysis Center, Inc. In 1967 the company was renamed Consolidated Analysis Centers, Inc. The company name was officially changed to CACI, Inc. in 1973. In recognition of our growing international business we became CACI International Inc.

What year and where was CACI incorporated?
CACI was founded in 1962. As the organization has grown the corporate structure has evolved accordingly. The publicly traded corporation and "parent" of the CACI group of companies is CACI International Inc, which was incorporated on October 8, 1985.

CACI is organized into two major business groups: domestic operations (CACI, INC.-FEDERAL) and the United Kingdom (UK) operations (CACI, Ltd.). Our domestic operations develop and implement complex systems integration solutions for federal, state and local and commercial customers, working with a client's systems whether they are existing ones or those tied to the Internet. Our UK operations offer marketing systems software and database products for use by the retail community and builds large complex computer systems.

CACI is in four major lines of business

1. Systems integration offerings combine current systems with new technologies or integrate hardware and software from multiple sources to enhance operations and save time and money.
2. Engineering services offerings enable clients to standardize and improve the way they manage the logistical lifecycles of systems, products and material assets, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity.
3. Managed network services offerings include a complete suite of solutions for total lifecycle support of global networks.
4. Knowledge management offerings encompass a range of information management tools and enabling technologies, including Internet-based user interfaces, commercial off-the-shelf software and workflow management systems.

Has CACI made any acquisitions recently?
Since late 1997 CACI has acquired companies and businesses that have enhanced its communications capabilities and given the company access to business with the U.S. Intelligence Community

• November 2001 - Digital Systems International Corp. (DSIC) enhanced our solutions and broadened our customer base, particularly within our systems integration and managed network services lines of business.
• August 2002 - Government Solutions Division (GSD) of Condor Technology Solutions, Inc., complemented CACI's systems integration, knowledge management, data mining and purchasing systems solutions for federal clients.
• October 2002 - Acton Burnell, Inc., an information technology company providing systems integration, knowledge management, manpower readiness and training and financial systems solutions for the federal government.
• March 2003 - Applied Technology Solutions of Northern VA, Inc. an information technology company serving clients in the national Intelligence Community.
• May 2003 - Premier Technology Group, Inc. (PTG), headquartered in Fairfax, VA, providing professional services to clients in the DoD and the Intelligence Community.
• October 2003 - C-Cubed Corporation, headquartered in Springfield, VA, providing specialized services in support of C4ISR initiatives to clients in the DoD, federal civilian and intelligence communities.
• January 2004 - MTL Systems, Inc (MTL), located in Dayton, OH, providing engineering and integration services primarily for the DoD.
• March 2004 - CMS Information Services, Inc., headquartered in Vienna, VA, an information technology consulting firm serving government agencies primarily in the national defense sector.
• May 2004 - Defense and Intelligence Group of AMS, Inc., headquartered in Fairfax, VA, provides the U.S. government with business management solutions, including information technology and software design, for defense and intelligence agencies in support of acquisition, financial management, engineering services and logistics, warfighting and intelligence missions.
• October 2005 - National Security Research, Inc., headquartered in Arlington, VA, specializes in helping to strengthen U.S. national security policy and solutions in the command and control, homeland security, advanced concepts and international security, and missile defense markets, supporting both federal government and aerospace and defense industry customers.
• March 2006 - Information Systems Support, Inc. (ISS), an award winning and ISO:9001 certified information technology solutions provider primarily to the U.S. government. Headquartered in Gaithersburg, MD, ISS offers solutions in information technology, communications and logistics.
• May 2006 - AlphaInsight Corporation. Headquartered in Falls Church, VA, AlphaInsight is an award winning information technology company that specializes in serving the federal government primarily in the areas of software and systems engineering, network engineering and management, and information assurance and security.
• May 2007 - Institute for Quality Management, Inc., a leading provider of management consulting and operational support services to the Intelligence Community and homeland security markets headquartered in Vienna, VA.
• June 2007 - The Wexford Group International, headquartered in Vienna, VA, with offices in North Carolina, Kansas and Georgia. The company provides solutions for acquisition management, operational applications of technology, strategic communications and management, organization and performance.
• October 2007 - Athena Innovative Solutions, Inc., headquartered in Arlington, VA, with offices in Northern Virginia, Charlottesville and Tampa, FL.
